NOVALICHES RELIEF OPERATION (September 27, 2009)

Summary of operations:

The relief operations in Gulod, Novaliches was able to feed at least 800 individuals.  The relief included 400 packs Mang Inasal grilled chicken and rice, satsang food, 15 boxes of mineral water (35 bottles per box), 12 trays of boiled eggs and 1,000 pesos worth of bananas.

600 pieces of candles and matches were also given away.

Recommendation:

As per the discussion of Sen MAM with the residents, they are in need of:

  • School supplies
  • Blankets
  • Sleeping mats
  • Old clothes
  • If possible tents for those whose houses were washed away by the flood.

A second relief operations in the area is recommended.
